New KCRR Challenge #22

After a nice long break, we are back with a new KCRR challenge!

We have randomly chosen three items for today's challenge:

Jewelry Tag Punch
Fun-Folded Card
Pretty in Pink

This definitely got my creative juices flowing! I wanted to try a new card fold, so after some pinterest browsing, I came across a fun one -- the Double Pocket card. Click here for simple instructions by Patty Bennett. The nice thing about this card fold is that it's a great way to use up designer paper (you can use cardstock for the base as well).
I looked through my stock of DSP for Pretty in Pink and chose a piece from one of my favourite DSP collections - Tea for Two. I then chose the coordinating stamp set - Tea Shoppe and the card came together so nicely!

As you can see there are two pockets on the front of the card. These can be used to slide tags or gift cards into. In my case I chose one pocket for a tag and slid a tea bag into the other to go with the theme of the card.

Here you can see the tag. I simply stamped the tea cups in different coloured ink, fussy cut them and stacked them on top of each other. The edges of the tag are sponged with Soft Suede ink.
The large tea cup on the front of the card is stamped in Island Indigo. I have popped up the flowers to give the card some dimension. A tiny tag hangs from the handle of the teacup. Crochet ribbon and pearls embellish the card.

The inside of the card is lined with Pretty in Pink cardstock and I also added a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock cut into a large framelit shape for a space to write a personal message.

I absolutely love this card fold! It's so easy to make and has a great result! The pockets are so fun! I can't wait to make more of these!

Thanks for stopping by! Make sure to hop on over to Karly's Creations to see her take on this challenge.
