Mini Baby Cards

Zumba was a great workout last night! I usually stick to the back row, but at times it's hard to see the instructor and can be quite challenging to keep up! This time I moved up a row and I could follow along SO much easier! It was a fun workout and I look forward to next week!

Stampin Royalty's challenge this week is entitled "Oh, Baby!!". I'm going to keep the 'mini' theme going. :) Yesterday's post featured a 3" x 3" mini album and today's post features a couple of mini 2" x 3" baby cards with matching envelopes.

Isn't this size just adorable?! I stamped a little bunny in Basic Gray and popped them up to give the card some dimension. I added bakers twine and small rhinestones to embellish them. These fit perfectly in the small scallop envelopes -- I love this die!

Thanks for stopping by! Make sure to visit tomorrow for a new KCRR challenge!

FM#98 {Happy Easter}

Happy Monday!

As usual, the weekend flew by! It was a nice relaxing weekend - from catching up with family, papercrafting and spending some quality time with my hubby. (He will be going out of town later this week for work, so I'm cherishing the time I have with him :) )

For today's card, I decided to play along with the Friday Mashup! This week, the mash up is a Sketch featuring Bunnies - how fun for Easter!

I chose some "Eastery" colours with a neutral and followed the sketch quite precisely. Here's what I came up with:

So Saffron cardstock is used for the card base.  I chose green flowery designer paper from the Summer Smooches collection for the card front. The tree stamp was coloured with Chocolate Chip and Old Olive markers. I fussy-cut the bunny and popped it up using dimensionals. A flagged banner in Tangerine Tango is added to brighten up the card. To coordinate with this orange I coloured large rhinestones with an orange Sharpie and put them in all four corners.
